License and Permits
Columbia River Outdoors is fully insured, licensed in the state of Washington, and permitted by the United States Forest Service.
Waiver and Release Agreement
All guests at Columbia River Outdoors are required to read and sign a waiver and release agreement prior to participating in any river trip or outdoor activity that we offer. The waiver and release agreements can be found below. Guests under the age of 18 must read and sign the Minor Waiver, Release and Indemnification document, and this document must also be signed by a parent, guardian, or custodian of the minor.

Cancelation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations 7+ days prior to the scheduled trip or activity will be refunded 90%
- Cancellations within 7 days of a scheduled trip or activity will not be refunded.
- Weather: Our raft trips happen rain or shine. Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded.
- Late Guests: We may be unable to accommodate guests who arrive later than the scheduled check in time for a trip or activity and we will not provide refunds to guests who miss their trip because of late arrival.
- There will be no exceptions for sickness or personal emergencies.
Pricing Policy
- Larger groups can give us a call to find out more about group rates and private trips.
- Groups should appoint a leader, so that payment can be made by one individual in full.
- Guide Gratuity is not included in the trip price. Gratuities are never expected but always appreciated, and the amount is up to you!
Alcohol Policy
Guests of Columbia River Outdoors are not permitted to consume alcohol prior to participation in any river trip or activity. Guests who arrive intoxicated or are seen consuming alcohol prior to a trip or activity will not be allowed to participate and no refunds will be issued.
Covid-19 Procedures
- Columbia River Outdoors meets or exceeds all Washington State guidelines and protocols related to Covid-19.
- Guides and guests will not be required to wear masks on the river. A small, clean dry bag can be provided to each group or household to keep masks dry and secure while on the river so that they can be worn again after reaching the takeout.
- Gear worn or used by guests will be washed and sanitized between trips.
Discrimination Policy
In accordance with the Federal law, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs)
